Chantale Bourdages

Chantale was born and raised north of Montreal learning about nature & gardening while training in dance, alpine skiing and track & field.
After years of traveling, an associates degree in Humanities from Canada and studies in Literature in Düsseldorf, Germany, she completed a certification as a Bioenergetic Therapist and a training in Breath Work.

In 2009 she immigrated to the United States and studied yoga under the care of Paula Heitzner, with whom she completed her 200hr-YTT in Vinyasa & Hatha yoga in 2020. The same year she founded Breathe On Yoga and joined the Ta Ra Institute.

Seeing a great demand for accessible yoga, she started teaching Chair Yoga. All her classes focus on bringing the wonderful health and spiritual benefits of Yoga to everyone. Through creative sequences, Bioenergetics and the use of props, the classes help restore, build, maintain flexibility and strength, deal with past & present injuries or work towards lessening the effects of time on the body while developing wellness and self-care for the mat and everyday life.

From 2023-25 she joined the board of the Yoga Teacher Association of the Hudson Valley, an organization offering continuing education for Yoga teachers and practitioners.
She recently started studying Deep tissue massage under the care of Dr. Tashi Dolma.

Man Duong

Man Hue Duong was a toddler when her family fled Vietnam following the Fall of Saigon in 1978. After crossing the South China Sea to Malaysia, she nearly lost her life to a severe fever in a refugee camp. Two years later, her family immigrated to the United States and began rebuilding their lives in Utica, New York.

For over a decade, Man has been sharing the practice of yoga as a means of inquiry, strength, and connection. She is an E-RYT 500 through the Kripalu School of Yoga and holds certifications in children’s yoga, aerial yoga, and SPRY (Strength, Power, Resistance, Yoga). Her initial 200-hour training was completed at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California. She has continued her studies at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, the Yoga Sanctuary in Las Vegas, advanced yoga training with Noah Maze in Bali, and trauma-informed yoga training with Lisa Danylchuck.

In addition to her yoga work, Man is trained as a Labor and Postpartum Doula and has offered prenatal, postnatal, family, and private yoga to support individuals and families through life’s major transitions. Most recently, she completed her End-of-Life Doula training and is devoted to fostering greater awareness, education, and compassionate support around the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of death and dying.
